Women Count: Civil Society Monitoring of UNSCR 1325:

1325 Policy Group works in partnership with the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP)  on civil society monitoring. As part of this project we train civil society organizations in conflict- and post-conflict countries in monitoring, using indicators, and support them in producing in-country monitoring reports. The reports are launched every year around the anniversary of UNSCR 1325 in New York.

National Action Plans on UNSCR 1325:

1325 Policy Group’s staff have extensive experience of capacity building on national action plans (NAPs). We specialize in training’s for civil society and government actors on how to make the process of developing a NAP as transparent and inclusive as possible. We also focus our training’s on the actual content of a NAP and how to properly monitor and evaluate it.

Security Sector Reform and UNSCR 1325:

1325 Policy Group works on implementing UNSCR 1325 in security sector reform (SSR) processes through training’s for women’s organizations and mission/security personnel (e.g. police and military etc.) on the importance of including women in reform processes and the necessity of a gender perspective in all security work.
